So, I was at my friend’s house for dinner last night. He mentioned that a prominent, local, successful Builder who has been building houses in Weston for decades told him, “I wouldn’t even THINK about building a house in Weston anymore. The Taxes are out of control.” He continued that when he builds his next project, “it won’t be in Weston, that’s for sure. Westport or Wilton. But, not Weston.” That’s unfortunate, for Weston. This issue of Taxes has been coming up more and more. It’s always been a factor in selling Weston. But, it’s gotten EXTREME; and it puts Weston sellers at a real disadvantage.
